Does NECI provide access to post-training resources?
Learning does not end once the course or seminar is over. We provide participants with a variety of valuable resources to further their skills and knowledge:
Course Materials Binder: These high quality materials provide an ongoing reference tool for participants, and include summaries of court decisions, case studies, templates and best practices. We enhance and update our materials on an annual basis (Annual Curriculum Enrichment/ACE), so participants are assured of the most current court decisions and leading practices.
Library: The library is an online, searchable database containing selected procurement and contract management learning resources. It includes checklists, templates, sample contract and procurement clauses, articles summarizing recent critical court decisions and best practices in procurement and contract management. Visit our sample library for examples of the materials that are available in the full library.
The Legal Edge: All participants receive a value-added one-year subscription to our bi-monthly publicationThe Legal Edge. Procurement and contract management specialists, in-house counsel, program managers and senior executives rely on The Legal Edge, to provide them with up-to-date information, written in a concise, straightforward style. We use The Legal Edge as a forum for sharing lessons from Canadian court decisions and trends in procurement and contracting. We focus on issues that will help our clients anticipate legal risks and develop effective contracting practices.
Community of Practice: We provide opportunities for participants to continue networking with their peers to exchange ideas, nurture innovation and share knowledge.
Update courses: Participants can keep their knowledge current and expand their skill set through update courses.
