Procurement and Contract Management Program

We developed the Procurement and Contract Management Program (PCMP) on behalf of the Province of B.C. and have been delivering it since 2004. Thanks to a licensing arrangement with the Province, we are now able to offer the  program's twenty courses to other organizations  across Canada and beyond. 

 

In the Province of B.C., the government issues a recognized certificate to participants who complete a prescribed set of courses. Similar recognition opportunities are available for your organization.

 

In-depth, Integrated Approach

We deliver PCMP courses as part of a complete training program or as single offerings to organizations looking for:

an in-depth view of a particular topic

a program designed to develop knowledge and skills identified through a needs assessment process

a program targeted to meet the needs of a particular audience level

Innovative Best Practices

In addition to best practices and case studies gathered from other Canadian organizations, we provide examples of the Province  of  B.C.'s  most innovative procurement practices.

 

Blended Learning Approach

We deliver some PCMP courses exclusively online, others in a classroom setting, and some using a combination of the two. Participants in both settings actively participate in discussions and group exercises based on real life case studies. Our multi-disciplinary instructors have backgrounds in law, project management, finance, procurement and contract management. 

 

Dedicated Learning Website

We provide access to a learning portal to all participants in PCMP courses. This easy-to-use site allows participants to:

Access online pre-course materials and testing so they are prepared for classroom sessions

Explore an extensive online library of procurement and contract management learning resources

Create a personalized electronic learning record 

 

Flexible Delivery Options

NECI offers twenty PCMP courses targeted to four audience levels. Organizations can choose the type and number of courses, and the time period over which they are taken.
