Michael is NECI’s newest instructor, signing on in 2011. A well-rounded and well-regarded lawyer, Michael joins NECI with over 10 years of legal experience, cut within top-tier law firms and cultivated within diverse legal departments. Most notably, Michael served as Assistant General Counsel with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, a Crown corporation created as the federal government’s primary response to the events of 9/11.
In 2011, Michael launched his own practice, Law at Large. He offers legal and related services to governments and businesses, primarily on procurement matters.
Michael takes pride in his ability to deal promptly and effectively with a wide range of legal, business and policy issues, taking a diligent but pragmatic approach. His analytical, communication and interpersonal skills are first-rate.
